PlayStation 2 Slim
Sony’s 2004 slimline PS2, loading its library from a memory card and feeding the LMD wall over component.
The slim PlayStation 2 arrived in 2004 at a fraction of the original’s size, with the network adapter built in.
This one runs its games from a MemCard Pro 2. The card sits in the memory card slot, boots Free McBoot, and Open PS2 Loader plays games from its SD card, so the disc drive stays idle. Nothing inside the console is modified.
It is also the one console here that doesn’t take the SCART road. Its component output goes through the switcher to a CE Labs AV901-HD distribution amplifier, which feeds the LMD wall.
